This past week marked the start of lambing season. Lambs came hit the ground running and the weather is slowly improving. This time of year it’s important to be grateful for the blessings all around us. The earth and sky provide us so much that we even get to share in its new life. It reminds me of a poem by Robert Frost
Nothing gold can stay
Natures first green is gold
Her hardest hue to hold
Her early leaf’s a flower
But only so an hour
Then leaf subsides to leaf
So Eden sank to grief
So dawn goes down today
Nothing gold can stay
